Nesco/American Harvest
The Metalware Company has worked with DMI Studios since the late 1990's, beginning with minimalistic Nesco.com site that included a simple ordering form, leading all the way up to the fully integrated e-commerce site in use today. Along the way, DMI Studios has created multiple variations of Nesco.com with an eye on continuing to move the site forward. The site now works in conjunction with Metalware's order fulfillment system so that orders filter in and out of the process in an automated manner. Customer Service Representatives use a system built by DMI to process call in orders, warranty issues, and general customer services inquiries. All customer contacts are cataloged on a per customer basis. DMI also created a special extranet site where Nesco retailers and distributors can acquire marketing materials and product information. Nesco uses a system built by DMI that lets them build and distribute HTML emails as well as measure the level of interest in each topic within the message. In the near future, Nesco will roll out a mobile version of the site that allows users on the go to place an order. Visit www.nesco.com |
